As motherhood evolves, finding your identity and purpose can be a deeply enriching and transformative journey. As children grow and gain independence, the roles and demands of motherhood shift, often leading to a period of self-reflection and rediscovery. Embracing this transition involves observing the profound and influential role you have as a mother, while recognizing that there is more to your worth and value. You have been crafted with unique talents, passions and purposes, which contribute to the richness of the human experience. Carrie would like to help you redefine your understanding of self and purpose as being rooted in the unchanging truth of God’s love and grace. You will always be mom, but you are so much more!
Carrie founded and led a mom’s ministry called “A Mother’s Heart” for 7 years at Ginger Creek Community Church, then God led her family to Chapelstreet Church. Her love for studying scripture has grown immensely, leading her to facilitate Bible study small groups for 15 years. Her passion lies in sharing the love of Jesus and encouraging women through God’s Word. She has been blessed with 35 years of marriage and three wonderful adult children—a daughter and two sons—all of whom are married. Her joy is further multiplied by her two grandchildren, Judah and Mercy.
