“Relationally Intelligent Teens-Teaching Our Teens Practical Social Skills that Will Carry Them into Adulthood”

Social interactions and social intelligence is everywhere and as Christians and Christian parents we can’t be naive to the effects it has on us and our children. In this presentation we will look at the general lack of social skills and the ability of today’s youth to interact on healthy levels with both peers and family. Finally, we will look at what the Bible says about this and how we can apply these truths to our modern world and lack of civility.

Sean Thomas has been a High School Counselor and Coach at Glenbard North since 2004.  He has a master’s degree in counseling from NIU.  Sean has also served as a College Pastor at Chapelstreet Church and Camp Coordinator for Victory Sports Camp.  Sean lives in St. Charles with his wife Stephanie and has two daughters Leah 24 and Libby 20.
