Practical Ways to Instill Faith in Your Home
There are a lot of things we hope to teach our children. We want them to learn to be kind, responsible, and honest. We want our children to have strong marriages one day, to be good parents and strong adults. Building strong adults begins with setting a strong foundation of faith and family values. The family values and faith we teach our children now, will grow into the strong character and identity they need to carry them through the teen years and the rest of their lives. So how do we do that now? How do we begin to implement those strong faith-filled family values?
Libby Tate, Director of Chapelstreet Kids at our Mill Creek Campus, will be sharing with us practical ways to instill faith in our homes today, while our children are young. Libby Tate has been married to Matt for 28 years, is mom to five children (ages 26 to 14) and Director of Chapelstreet Kids at the Mill Creek Campus. She and her family live on a small horse farm in Campton Hills, where they laugh hard and work hard every day. She is passionate about encouraging families to build their homes on Jesus and nurture disciples of the next generation.
