Concert & Ice Cream Social

July 28 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Rev. Dr. Huntley Brown will be in concert at Chapelstreet Church, South Street Campus, on Sunday, July 28. He will play a 5-minute instrumental hymn medley during our 9:00 AM church service. Then he will perform a one-hour concert from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. We will have an ice cream social after the concert from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM. ALL Chapelstreeters, regardless of campus, are invited! Event is free.

The music of Rev Dr Huntley Brown has been described as inspired, anointed, powerful, and explosive. His electrifying playing earned him the Top Caribbean Gospel Instrumentalist Award for 2005 and 2006. In 2009 he was appointed musical ambassador for CTS TV Station in Seoul Korea and in 2010 he was inducted into the Fox Valley Arts Hall Of Fame.

Huntley was the artist in residence for the Total Living Network in Chicago with host Jerry & Shirley Rose for many years. He was also the regular crusade pianist for the recently retired Dr. Ralph Bell, an associate evangelist with the Billy Graham Association. He is now the pianist for Ruth Graham and Friends Ministries and also ministers with the Franklin Graham team. In 2015 Huntley joined the staff of Judson University as the first ever artist in residence.

In 2017 Huntley released his first book “Keys To Avoiding Deception” a practical guide to biblical discernment in a contradictory world. This book won a readers choice award.

In 2020 the Huntley Brown Foundation was launched. This Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created to help the less fortunate around the world.

In 2022 he released his second book “Practical Keys For Daily Living” A 365 Day Devotional”

Huntley’s other interests include basketball (as he likes to say, “I can’t shoot, but I can dunk!”) and Hapkido, one of the martial arts in which he holds a black belt.
