“Boundaries with Teens: Untangling the Apron Strings”
Tween and teen years can be hard as our children start to assert their independence. How do you keep them safe yet not smother them? What are your teens responsibilities and what are yours as the parent? What decisions do they get to make and when do they still need to just do what they’re told? Learn how healthy boundaries can provide clear expectations for everyone in the family during these tumultuous years.
Julie Robertson is the mother of four children and passionate about pouring into her family and into the lives of other women. She and her husband have lived in 5 states during their 23 years of marriage, and she can relate firsthand to many issues that mothers face: marital stress, moving often with young children, anxiety, depression, children with special needs, school struggles, and pursuing God’s call on her life. Julie has been the Coordinator of Care Groups at Chapelstreet Church for over 5 years and became a C.S. Lewis Institute Fellow in June of 2024.
