PLOT SUMMARY:

The famous ogre we all know and love is back in this hilarious stage performance based on the Oscar-winning, DreamWorks film and Broadway musical. Shrek Jr. features romance within a twisted fairy tale through fun characters and music for the whole family. Shrek, the swamp ogre, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue Princess Fiona to save his precious home from Lord Farquaad’s threats. Through a series of twists and turns, Shrek, Donkey, and his other companions do everything they can to preserve Shrek’s swamp. Shrek Jr. presents an imaginative set and creative costumes that highlight this dazzling story of adventure and friendship.

God of Freedom: A Study of Exodus 19-40 by Jen Wilkin

Every book of the Bible tells us what is true about God. In Exodus, we see Him as our strong Deliverer who sets us free from sin and death to worship Him through obedience.

In this study of Exodus 19–40, journey through the story of how God shepherds His newly-liberated children into an understanding of what their freedom means: lives set apart for service to God and to one another.

Navigating Gospel Truth: A Guide to Faithfully Reading the Accounts of Jesus’ Life

The Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—are four accounts of one extraordinary life. Each book tells the story of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. These book aren’t fairytales, fiction, or legend; they are gospel truth. To read each of these accounts well, we must learn how the four biographies of Jesus complement each other.

While exploring the gospels, you’ll learn to identify and understand the different kinds of writing in these ancient texts, including narrative, poetry, parable, and more. This journey will affirm that the accounts of Jesus’s life in the Gospels are reliable and true renewing your confidence in the truth of Scripture, you’ll gain a clearer and more captivating view of Jesus’s ministry and purpose, and along the way you’ll acquire skills that will help you become a better student of all of Scripture.
