She and her husband have lived in 5 states during their 23 years of marriage\, and she can relate firsthand to many issues that mothers face: marital stress\, moving often with young children\, anxiety\, depression\, children with special needs\, school struggles\, and pursuing God’s call on her life. Julie has been the Coordinator of Care Groups at Chapelstreet Church for over 5 years and became a C.S. Lewis Institute Fellow in June of 2024. \nREGISTER

Research has shown that divorce proofing your marriage isn’t about how you handle disagreements\, but rather how you engage with one another\nwhen you are not fighting. Dr. Naatz will guide you through the six predictors of divorce and provide four behaviors you can learn immediately to divorce proof your marriage. \nDr. Lisa Naatz is the co-founder of Hesed Psychological Services and an adjunct professor at Wheaton College in the clinical psychology doctoral program. She has specialized training in clinical neuropsychology\, particularly with pediatrics\, working with individuals and couples\, and training doctoral students from all over the world. Her organization\, Hesed Psychological Services\, has a missional component where she prepares students to plant Hesed clinics in underserved areas of our country where access to mental health services is unavailable. DESCRIPTION:Fun\, friends\, and individualized care while you get a break. \nBuddy Break is a free respite care program where children with disabilities and their siblings have fun and make new friends. \nBuddy Break is a free outreach ministry for parents/caregivers who need a break from the ongoing responsibilities of caregiving for a child with a disability. All children have the opportunity to have fun\, make new friends and hear God’s Word with trained volunteers. Buddy Break exists to share the love and acceptance of Christ with all children and parents. \n  \nNew Buddy Break Families\nAs part of the sign up process we have a detailed online information form for you to fill out prior to Buddy Break. You have been crafted with unique talents\, passions and purposes\, which contribute to the richness of the human experience. Carrie would like to help you redefine your understanding of self and purpose as being rooted in the unchanging truth of God’s love and grace. You will always be mom\, but you are so much more! \nCarrie founded and led a mom’s ministry called “A Mother’s Heart” for 7 years at Ginger Creek Community Church\, then God led her family to Chapelstreet Church.  Her love for studying scripture has grown immensely\, leading her to facilitate Bible study small groups for 15 years. Her passion lies in sharing the love of Jesus and encouraging women through God’s Word.  She has been blessed with 35 years of marriage and three wonderful adult children—a daughter and two sons—all of whom are married. She and her husband have lived in 5 states during their 23 years of marriage\, and she can relate firsthand to many issues that mothers face: marital stress\, moving often with young children\, anxiety\, depression\, children with special needs\, school struggles\, and pursuing God’s call on her life.
