Confronting Abuse & Changing Lives

Royal Family Kids Camp

Creating hope and positive memories for abused & neglected kids

Royal Family Kids Camp is a five-day summer resident camp for children of abuse and neglect – of elementary school age (7 – 11 years old) – living in foster care or at-risk homes in our community.

Each year, we rent a beautiful camp facility in Wisconsin for a week.  With a ratio of no more than two kids per counselor, we provide the children with a week filled with positive memories and introduce them to a God that knows their name.

Shining Stars

Weekend Retreat

When kids age out of the summer RFKC camping program because they are entering Junior High, we provide them with the opportunity to join the Shining Stars weekend retreat ministry.  We take them to a camp site right in our backyard twice a year and provide a program that includes outside activities, games and speakers who reach out to them with important advice on life choices.

The Summit

For graduates of RFKC Camp and Shining Stars

Kids entering high school, who have been with us through both Royal Family and Shining Stars, graduate to The Summit wilderness camping ministry.  For one week in the summer, they experience canoeing on the Wisconsin River, sleeping out in tents on a sandbar, rock climbing, cave exploring and much more.

We hold a reunion in January where we reconnect with the kids, work together to complete a local service project, and end the day with a group activity.
