Royal Family Kids Camp

This camp is for kids in the foster care system ages 7 to 11, and we are always looking for great role models and people to be a part of giving these kids a week of positive memories! Our camp this year will be June 9-14. The specific roles we are looking to fill for this summer are the following: counselors, male coach, nurse, photographers, and crafty people to help with our craft station.

We are also looking for loving and caring volunteers to serve at our other two foster care camps:

Shining Stars

This camp is for middle schoolers who have been graduated from RFK. Shining Stars camp is two weekends a year, one in September and one in March.

The Summit

This camp is for kids in high school and those who have attended our other two camps. You must be 20-years old to volunteer at this camp. The Summit camp is July 9-14.

All three camps are run by volunteers, and it’s free for all the kids and volunteers.

The first step to serve at camp is to fill out a Royal Family Application. You can email the application back to us or mail it us at:

Chapelstreet RFK
2300 South Street
Geneva Illinois 60134

Once we receive your application, we will call all your references and set up an interview with you.

Additional Information:

Before camp, there will be 12 hours of training that you must attend.
If you can’t make some of the training dates, don’t worry, we do offer make-up training.

If you or anyone you know, has a heart for helping kids and might be able to serve at camp, have them come to one of the informational meetings.
The first informational meeting will be this Sunday, January 20, at noon at all the campuses.
