Session A meets on the first Wednesday and Session C meets on the third Wednesday.*

“Help Your Kids Thrive After Covid” with Courtney Wilson
After a year of uncertainty, how can we help our kids thrive socially, emotionally, and spiritually? Courtney Wilson joins us to explore how we can help our kids turn to God as the Author and Perfecter of our faith, and to see Him as the Hero of their story! Courtney Wilson has worked in children’s ministry for over 19 years and currently serves as the KidsWorld Pastor at Christ Community Church in St Charles, Illinois. Courtney has 3 sons and a daughter and is known as the loudest mom during their cross country races.

“Gossip Girl No More” with Liz Lassa
Is creating a gossip-free zone that fosters safe and loving community possible? Yes! Join Liz Lassa as she talks about the tough subject of gossip in a way that leads to life change.
She will help us recognize gossip, identify where we struggle with it, understand why we do it, and provide productive ways to deal with it. Liz Lassa has been married for 26 years and is a moms to three children, ages 11 to 20. She is a Life Purpose Coach, Speaker and Retreat Leader, and creator of the Spiritual Circle Journals.
December 1 & 8, 2021 –
Christmas Celebration and Cookie Exchange
Join us as we celebrate the season and Christ’s birth together with a casual time of connection together along with a giant cookie exchange! Enjoy a time of rest and remembrance during this busy season.

“Now That We Know: Finding Balance With Technology” with Nadia Swearingen-Friesen
We are living in the age of tech and are learning more every day about the effects devices can have on our children’s well-being. National speaker and author Nadia Swearingen-Friesen will share the current research and some practical ways we can find better balance with technology in our families. Nadia has been married to her husband Mark for over 25 years and together they are raising four children in the suburbs of Chicago.

“Rediscovering Your Marriage in the Midst of Motherhood” with Libby Tate
Getting married, having children, living happily ever after. That was the dream, right? But raising kids can make it harder to connect with your spouse as your attention and your energy naturally go first to the little ones in your household. Bring your marriage back up the list of priorities as our very own Libby Tate offers hope, encouragement, and practical advice so that you can rediscover your marriage in this season of parenting. Libby Tate is a wife, mother, Bible study teacher and the Director of Chapelstreet Kids at our Mill Creek Campus.
March 2 & 16, 2022 –
“Nourish: Using Nutrition to Nourish the Mind, Body & Soul” with Colleen Clesen
We all want our children to live healthy lives and thrive. We want this for ourselves, too! Nutritionist Colleen Clesen will break through confusion surrounding nutrition and empower you to make healthy food choices for yourself and your family, including some tips to prepare food in the midst of busy schedules. Colleen Clesen is a 12-year Ovarian Cancer survivor, who took her health back after struggling through surgeries, chemotherapy and other medication. For over a decade, she has been helping others do the same through faith and nutrition. Colleen is the owner of Heal 180, has a Bachelor’s degree in Food Nutrition & Dietetics.

“Enjoy Every Minute and Other Ridiculous Things We Say To Moms” with Becky Baudouin
We have all heard kind people utter well-meaning phrases that send us spiraling and feeling like we are failing at motherhood. It’s time to debunk some of those sayings together! With humor and candor, Becky Baudouin will help us tackle common clichés offered up to moms and instead rely on God’s strength in hard moments, with corrected expectations and an eternal perspective. Becky is an author, speaker, and former columnist for Chicago’s Daily Herald. She is wife to Bernie, mom to three daughters and one son-in-law, and has called Chicago home for more than twenty years.

Celebrate Summer Party at the Park
Let’s come together and celebrate the beginning of summer with a party at the park! We will meet together at South Mill Creek Park, across the street from our Mill Creek Campus, to enjoy some special treats and a time to connect as moms while our kids have fun on the playground.
