Intentional Parenting Through the Teen Years

Rob and Jackie Ribbe

How do we live up to our hopes and dreams as parents for our tweens and teens? How do we navigate the challenges of raising kids in today’s mixed-up world? Where is the training manual? Sadly, no such training manual exists. But there is hope and we don’t need to be perfect to be the parents our kids need during this stage. Rob and Jackie Ribbe will share some basic principles they have learned through their years of successes and failures as they raised four kids and worked with thousands of others in their 30+ years at HoneyRock.

Rob and Jackie have been married for 28 years adn just entered hte empty-nest years this fall. Rob serves as the Director of HoneyRock, the Camp and Outdoor Center for Leadership Development of Wheaton College, and is a faculty member in the School of Mission, Ministry, and Leadership. Jackie is a social worker by training but a mom at heart. Both Rob and Jackie love to see children and emerging adults recognize God’s creative touch on their lives and discover how He has called them to be part of His work in the world.
