Raising Teens With Sound Minds

Daniel Phillips

Anxiety! Depression! We’ve all thought it: “It’s a tough time to be a kid.” Growing up has always had its difficulties, but we are living in an age that has created new hurdles for our developing children and adolescents. 1Timothy 1:7 encourages us to remember that God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control (sound minds). In this age of greater anxiety and pervasive depression how do we raise our teens to actively live out this verse and to conquer fear? How do we promote sound emotional health in our teens? Come and hear some of the best practices and helpful guidance pertaining to raising emotionally and spiritually healthy kids.
