Technology’s Influence Over Teens’ Beliefs and Behaviors

Dr. Kathy Koch

We all see our kids on their screens and wonder how it will effect them. Indeed, this time on screens is influencing their view of the world, but this is not the end of the world! Come and learn to understand how technology is influencing our kids’ (and our) beliefs and behaviors. Learn communication patterns that matter along with practical strategies to help your tweens and teens mature even as they keep using technology.

With a passion for being an influence and for helping build strong and healthy families, Dr. Kathy Koch writes (6 books and counting) and speaks (a lot and often) on a wide range of topics related to families and parenting. She is a featured speaker for Care Net, Great Homeschool Conventions, Summit Ministries, Axis, and more. Her big-screen credit is in Kirk Cameron’s 2018 movie Connect: Real Help for Parenting Kids in a Social Media World, in which Kathy was interviewed as the technology expert (without a script!). She is a popular guest on Focus on the Family Radio where her broadcasts were in the top ten shows in 2014, 2016, and 2019. Dr. Kathy is the founder of Celebrate Kids, Inc. and co-founder of Ignite the Family.
