Fledge: When to Hold On and When to Let Go
Learning when to hold on and when to let go, doesn’t begin fall of senior year. And it doesn’t end when our son or daughter graduates from college. Learning when to hold on and when to let go begins now, in the day to day moments with our tweens and teens. The truth is our job as a mom is never over, but rather constantly changing. So how do we learn to change with it, to do it well? How do we learn to navigate the many transitions? How do we parent tweens and young adults at the same time? What’s a good balance between boundaries and freedom? And what do you do with all the mom grief?
You are invited to seek the answers to these questions and more at our April 27th session of Moms Connected with Brenda Yoder. Brenda is an author, counselor, educator, and parent who equips parents with practical, biblical tools to know when to hold on and how to let go as kids grow, all while keeping your faith and family intact. Together we will enjoy a time of fellowship and fun, as we learn to prepare our children and ourselves for the “fledging” process.
