Developing Deeper Friendships
If statistics related to loneliness were at an all-time high before a worldwide pandemic, how much greater is our difficulty today? Despite our deeply rooted need for relationships, we live in world where screens are replacing physical presence and it is increasingly difficult to find our place and sustain meaningful connection with others. Join Elizabeth McKinney as we consider what God’s big story has to say about what it means to be made in the image of a relational God, created for friendship rather than isolation.
Elizabeth Mckinney is a wife and mom to four little girls. She is on staff with Cru City and serves as associate staff at her church, The Crossing in Columbia, MO. She writes, speaks and is passionate about helping people love their next-door neighbors. Elizabeth is the co-author of Placed for a Purpose: A Simple and Sustainable Vision for Loving Your Next-Door Neighbors. You can find her on Instagram and at Placedforapurpose.com.
