DESCRIPTION:“True Identity: Helping Teens Find Strength in a Godly Self-Image” – Chris Mazzarella    \nThere is a lot of pressure on our teens today to conform.  The world is trying to define them and tell them who they should be.  As parents\, we long for our teen or tween to be secure and confident in who they are in Christ.  We want our teen to have a strong Godly self-image that can stand up to the peer pressure\, social pressure\, and voices calling out to them to conform.  We want the voice of God in their lives to speak far louder that the voice of others\, reminding them of their true identity.  Dr. Chris Mazzarella will share with us how we can help our teens find real strength in a Godly self-image. \nDr. Chris Mazzarella is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience as a mental health professional. Dr. Chris is a general practitioner utilizing a variety of treatment approaches to work with people experiencing mood and anxiety disorders\, trauma related disorders\, self-esteem issues\, parenting problems\, and spiritual concerns.  He is the director of the Heritage Center for Child and Family Resilience and is a clinical supervisor in the clinical training program at Heritage.   Dr. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife of over 25 years\, their three teenage children\, and puggle\, Lucy. \nREGISTER

DESCRIPTION:College Moms in Prayer provides a small group tailored to mothers of college-aged students\, whether they are pursuing traditional college paths\, serving in the military\, taking a gap year\, undergoing specialized training\, or entering the workforce. Our teams consist of 6-8 moms who gather once a month. \nThese gatherings are dedicated to the dual purpose of praying for our students and offering mutual support. We offer both daytime and evening groups to accommodate various schedules and ensure that every mom can participate. \nNew groups are being created for this fall. Please register by August 1st to allow us to find the best spot for you. \nRegister\n  \nSave the date to join us for our College Moms in Prayer Kick-off event on Thursday\, September 19th from 7:00 – 8:30pm.

Carrie is a Women’s Health Physical Therapist and 3rd Age Specialist in Peri to Post Menopause Wellness. She owns her own business designing health programs for women from puberty to perimenopause and beyond.
