Believers’ Baptism

An external symbol of an internal decision

We are here to assist you when you are ready to take the step of baptism.

Baptism is an external symbol of an internal spiritual decision to believe the gospel, repent from sin and receive the gift of eternal life. If you are ready to take this step, plan to be part of the baptism service of your choice.

Baptismal services are conducted inside our Sanctuary during the Fall and Spring. We also have an outdoor baptismal service during the summer.  You will be required to attend a one hour pre-baptismal class about one week prior to the service.

Our baptismal services include:

  • Worship and singing
  • A personal statement of faith by each candidate for baptism
  • A “sponsor” (person who played a significant role in candidate’s spiritual life) who enters the water with the candidate, if desired

Contact: Jan Bauserman at or 630.232.7068 x110.

Our baptism class will be Monday, August 20, 2018 at 7:00 PM in Keslinger Campus Room 103 (adult class) and the Cornerstone Room (families with elementary and middle school children).

Our next baptism service will be Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the 10:00 AM Stadium Service at the Kane County Cougars, Northwestern Medicine Field.
